SEV İzmir, Notion'un çok yönlü platformunu kullanarak dijital öğrenme alanları oluşturmak suretiyle öğrenci katılımını bir üst seviyeye taşıyor. “Holes” kitabı sayfası, öğretmenlerimizin sesli kitaplardan interaktif çalışma kitaplarına kadar her şeyi tek bir yerde nasıl düzenlediğini gösteriyor; bu da öğrencilerin kendi öğrenme stillerine uygun materyallere kolayca erişmelerini sağlıyor. Sınav hazırlığı için, PET Practice Website'ı Okuma, Yazma, Dinleme ve Konuşma alıştırmaları için ayrı bölümlerle birlikte öğrencilerin ihtiyaç duyduğu tüm cevap anahtarlarını ve ses dosyalarını düzenli bir şekilde sunuyor.
En ilgi çekici projelerimizden biri olan Yunan Mitolojisi Performans sayfasında, öğrenciler senaryolarını, rollerini ve performans programlarını hem İngilizce hem de Türkçe olarak bulabiliyorlar. Bu sayede iki dilli öğrenme hedeflerimizi desteklerken herkes aynı doğrultuda ilerleyebiliyor.

The Minecraft Dream House Project
This term, our 5th grade students completed an exciting project called Build Your Dream Home using Minecraft. Working in small groups, they designed and built their ideal houses, but the real focus was on language skills. Each student gave a live presentation, using the simple past, present perfect, and reflexive pronouns to describe the process. The final grade was based entirely on how they presented their ideas, and not the quality of their builds. The creativity and effort shown in both the building and the speaking were impressive, as students confidently shared what they had done, what they had learned, and how they helped themselves and each other throughout the project.
The Minecraft Vocabulary Museum
This past term, our 5th and 6th grade English students took part in an exciting project called the Minecraft Vocabulary Museum, where they combined language learning with creativity and digital design. Students began by selecting 10 new vocabulary words, writing clear definitions and example sentences in their notebooks. They then used Minecraft Education to build virtual museum rooms, each containing books that showcased their vocabulary work along with in-game photos to represent word meanings. The project ended with student presentations, where they confidently explained their language choices and creative decisions. Through this process, students developed their writing, speaking, and digital literacy skills—while having a lot of fun!
Yapay zeka ile kısa hikâyeler
Türkçe dersleri kapsamında öğrenciler, School AI adlı yapay zekâ destekli eğitim platformunu kullanarak dil becerilerini geliştirme ve yaratıcılıklarını ortaya koyma fırsatı yakaladı. Yapılan çalışmalarda, öğrenciler yapay zekâ ile kısa hikâyeler yazdı, metin türlerini tanıdı, anlam bilgisiyle ilgili interaktif etkinlikler yaptı ve kişiselleştirilmiş yazılı anlatım çalışmaları gerçekleştirdi. School AI’nin sunduğu hızlı geri bildirim ve öğrenciye özel içerik üretme özelliği, öğrencilerin dil kullanımında özgüven kazanmasına katkı sağladı.
